ABOUT

START ART SCHOOL is an independent children's art school located in a large, light & airy studio in Willoughby.
​
We have been operating since 2016 and offer art lessons solely focused on teaching art to children,
using a wide range of art mediums within a fun engaging curriculum.
​​
We provide an environment for creative thinking in a non-judgemental way,
believing there is no “right” or “wrong” way to express yourself artistically, removing the fear of failure and enabling
children to build self-esteem in a supportive environment where there are no mistakes, only opportunities to create.
​
We believe creativity is an essential skill for success in the world today.

PRINCIPAL
Vivienne du Toit completed a 4 design degree and worked in the design industry for 12 years before becoming an exhibiting artist and art teacher in 2002.
For the past 21 years Vivienne has taught art and is particularly passionate about teaching art to children.
